There is just so much more to Florida than Theme Parks.  You can enjoy miles of superb beaches that are often virtually deserted.

Closer to home there are some fantastic state and regional parks with great nature trails for family’s that love to explore on foot.

BEST BEACHES – All approximately 1.5 hours by car

West Coast (Atlantic): Vero Beach, Daytona Beach & New Smyrna Beach.

East Coast (Gulf Coast): Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Clearwater & St. Pete Beach

LAKE EVA – Haines City – A great place for families or couples.

Lovely park with a man made beach. Outdoor swimming pool with flumes etc.  Recreation area with children’s play areas. Bicycles and running trails.  Tennis courts.  Lakeside Pergolas with BBQ’s are available to rent.

Florida State parks are a great way to spend time with friends and family.  Enjoy the parks for a day or overnight.  Some state parks offer cabins or camping grounds too.  Spend the day walking trails, biking on the bike paths, swimming in the springs, playing on the playgrounds and enjoying nature.
