Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need pool heating?

It is recommended that you have the pool heated between October and April, and this should be requested at the time of booking.  If you decide to have the pool heated once you have arrived then be aware that it takes a minimum of 24 hours to heat the pool and is chargeable from the day it is turned on.  Charges for pool heating are shown on the availability and prices pages.

What housekeeping & villa services are included?

The villa is thoroughly cleaned immediately before your arrival, and fresh linen & towels are provided.  Additional maid cleaning services are available on request.  The pool will be checked & cleaned once a week and the lawns and gardens are also maintained weekly.

Is the villa suitable for young children?

Yes - very much so.  A highchair, a stroller [pushchair] and a single cot are provided along with a selection of toys and games. A pool safety fence is also provided, however it is your responsibility to ensure that the pool area is supervised at all times when being used by children. 

Who can we contact if we have any queries or problems?

Our property management company are based locally and are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  A contact number is provided for use in the event of emergencies.

Do we need to take towels?

Only if you plan to visit water parks or the beach.  All towels required for everyday use in and around the villa are are included.  If you plan to visit water parks or the beach then please provide your own towels.

How do we gain access to the villa?

Prior to your arrival, the key for the front door will be placed in a secure key-box fitted to the front door.  The key-box requires a 4 digit access code which will be issued to you prior to your departure.

How near are the medical services?

A walk-in medical centre and a general hospital [The Heart of Florida] are both no more than a 5 minute drive from the villa.

Do I need a Visa?

With the introduction of visa free travel to citizens of 27 countries, it is now possible for many travellers, including British citizens, to enter the United States without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Before planning your trip, familiarize yourself with the requirements for travelling visa free. If you do not meet all of the requirements for travelling visa free, you will require a visa.
